QQC #5

Quote: "And then, of course, you must spit out the fruit of that forbidden tree. You must absolutely and forever relinquish the idea that you know who should live and who should die on this planet."

Question:Can the Takers return to being Leavers?

Comment: The older generation of Takers as well as some of their children are bound to stay the way of the Takers which, due to my awareness, destroys the world. This does not mean the end of what we and others call home. Becoming aware and accepting the fact that we are destroying the planet we can rescue the Earth. If we were to teach the younger generation the ways of the Leavers they as well will hold the mentality of the Leavers even though they themselves will be Takers. This is what we are today, Takers who hold the mentality of a Leaver as we, as well as students of the world, are taught that we are not the importance of the world. That the world does not belong to man and we should allow other species to evolve. Though time is needed to complete this task, hopefully the world's time span does not demolish and allows us to redeem ourselves for our past mistakes.

QQC # 4

Quote: "Thats not good enough. The fact that something is not a waste of time does not inspire me to do it."

Question: Why is it that when people want to know something they do not know themselves truly want to know it?

Comment: As the narrator is presented with the question to why he wants to know the story of the Leavers he is baffled. Ishmael pushes him to truly find the reason to why he must know something. Which presents to me this, why do we feel that we have the right to know something simply because we feel we need to know. We truly have no other reason but curiosity and the thought that it is our human right to know all and everything there is to know. By pushing the narrator to truly comprehend the reason which drives the need of knowledge he as well discovers that the response is appreciated. Which as well brings me to understand that I must not simply ask for something and expect it to be given because I have a right to know, but I must appreciate the response and not demand it if it is not given to me.

QQC #3

Quote: "The tillers of the story were watering their fields with the blood of Semitic herders."

Question: Why was there a need to kill those whose land had been their own?

Comment: Of course I understand that to conquer somewhere there is blood to be shed, yet why? Why was this so needed. Was it our greed that had overtaken us and engulfed us in the taker ways. This was the beginning, if we were not self absorbed in the fact that we "knew" who should live or die we would lead ourselves to destroying the world. We would allow evolution to continue and live in peace. Yet this angers me that this was to be done because now to keep the world intact, I believe, is more wars. Yet I do not even know if we can possibly go back. If we can demolish our greed and stop considering ourselves much superior to those who are not Takers. Even so it involves a large span of time for us to do so. The young generation of today must put a stop to the killing. Yet is this even possible?

Questioning The Teenage Generation

The waves crashing upon the shores allowed a relaxed atmosphere to be absorbed by our minds as I approached a young man by the name of Steve. His identity will be kept secret therefore his name will be Steve. His curly hair was in a disarray as he smelled of fresh salt water. This gave me the suggestion that he was one who was carefree though I had already known this through the few months I had known him. The guy of about fifteen awaited my words as approached with determination. Then the questioning began.

L:Hey Steve would you mind if I started to ask you some questions?
S:(His eyes scurried across my face as though to find some sort reason to why the sudden approach)Ummmmm... Ok, but why?

L:Don't worry this is just for a school assignment, so can I start the questioning?
S: Wow your school does so many random things, but yeah sure just shoot away.

L:Do you believe there are any issues occurring in the world and if so what are they?
S: Ummm.. well that was pretty strong ok well I guess the problems in the world could be that there is to much littering in the world. Like look right there in the sand, can you see the candy wrapper there? And I think that if you continue going down the beach you can probably find more trash. So I guess in general pollution is a serious issue. (He paused waiting for my next question)

L:Hmmmm.. Ok so how do you feel we should change our ways to be rid of pollution?
S: Well first I feel that we should pick up our trash rather than just letting it land anywhere and maybe carpool a bit more. Because I know we can't just stop driving all together and just grab a bike and go. (chuckling at this point)

L:(Giggling a little) Ok, ok then do you do this yourself or do you simply just say rather than do?
S: Well I feel I do, do my share of helping the environment you know just pick up a few stuff here and there, but I do not go full on and let it affect my life. Like yeah I do recycle and stuff but I wouldn't like yell at other people from afar and tell them to pick up their trash. I guess it's because I am a bit embarrassed to do it.

L: Ok ok kind of off topic now.
S: Yeah sorry well like I was saying I just got my drivers license so there is going to be an extra car in the house because of this and well I need to get around as well right?

L: Ok so then your saying that it is other people's job and not yours to help the environment?
S: No no of course not. That is not what I am saying, well I guess it seems like that doesn't it. Well it's just easier to say something rather than do something. You know what I mean? (I nodded to let him continue) Well it's just a big change to suddenly become green.

L:Ok moving on to the next question. Do you feel that even without human input the Earth's end is inevitable?
S: Well.....hmmm... I guess that even without the help of humans the world will end either way, but I feel that we are speeding up the process though

L: Why do you think that?
S: Well it's obvious isn't it, all we do is just constantly use up so much energy, waste so much water, pollute the air constantly, and other stuff we can't seem to stop doing. It is part of our life and well it's hard to stop sometimes.

L:So do think there is no hope at all for the world then?
S: Well I don't know. Wow this conversation is getting intense ummm well I guess there is hope to save the world but the only way is to teach the younger generation on how to save it. You know in like school and stuff, but if this is not done I do feel that there will be no hope for the world.

L: Wow ok then thank you for your patience and great answers. Now want to go dive into some waves?
S: Yeah sure. Hey JoJo wait up.

Ishmael QQC #2

Quote:"And so your account of creation ends,'And finally man appeared.'"

Question: Yet was this world created for simply in benefiting man?

Comment: Though answering the question may be as though answering the main question of what the meaning of life is I am sure I can com up with an idea. It is as though saying that evolution was again simply made to make man and all creation ends with man? Though this is something which I may ponder with throughout my time of living I believe that man was not the main concern for making this lump of dirt. Though a part of me may disagree with what I have stated I truly feel that we again are still evolving; that life will continue long after we do not. I believe that we as well will evolve into something greater than ourselves or possibly worse. Yet maybe this is the end. Maybe this is the end of evolution as we know it and the world will end along with our species.

The Story of Man (Or at least my scarce version)

According to my beliefs , which may differ from those who read this, I believe in the Big Bang theory, or at least something similar to it. That which created earth had as well left behind various forms of organisms which soon grouped together to form bacteria. As time past organisms began to add to the original bacteria to provide a safer form of living.
This is due to survival of the fittest as those who could not survive the environmental or social changes would become extinct. Those who would survive would continue to evolve. From evolution came man as it is said, and what I believe, we are to be descended from monkeys. This is so because we are simply an evolved version of primates as we had begun to use our minds to create our tools to live.

Ishmael QQC #1

Quote:"It's so and nothing more needs to be said."

Question: Why had the Gorilla been able to speak to the Human.

Comment:The human past his middle ages searches for a reason to continue to help the world and finds his curiosity leading him toward an ironic creature. That of which had been a gorilla by the name of Ishmael though the man does not know this yet. Ishmael begins to speak with the man as though with no trouble which this brings up my curiosity to why he can speak. Which this, in truth, I feel that my question shall be answered as Ishmael continues his story. Or maybe as he states it is of no concern.
